 I've had the Magic Magee in my life now for 10 years and I cannot see my life without one now. I sleep with it everynight. I put it behind my lower back while driving. I sit with it while sewing or watching the boob tube. I've given so many of them to friends and new people I meet that I have lost track of how many.

I must preface this commentary with one critical fact. That this healing field cannot be replicated with any other number of magnets under the sun with the magic number being 8. If anyone understands the implication of numbers as do our Asian worlds then you will take to heart what you about to read. I truly believe that this tool belongs in every house and has a real application for every breathing body.

This is how this clever device came into my life. The inventor of this technology had been on my case and pursuing me with his literature for at least a year before I finally agreed to come meet with him and let him show me the power of this tool. At the time I was producing my own radio show and was being approached by every Tom, Dick and Harry to promote their products on the air. So I was very skeptical. Then an event in my life forced me to slow down big time! I had a freak fall and shattered my left leg. All excuses for being too busy faded in an instant and so when I was well enough I let a friend take me to meet Bruce.

What happened then was such a shocker that if I could have hightailed it out of there on my crutches I would have, No sooner had we said hello Bruce struck up a match and held it to the outside of my right forfinger giving me a third degree burn in an instant. My flesh was on the match and I was so stunned I almost cried. It really hurt! Bruce then apologized profusely and said to me, "the only way I can truly show you the power of this device is to give you a burn and cure and so I sat with my throbbing hand laying on one of these disks while Bruce covered the hand with a towel and proceeded to show me his experiments with the Magic Magee. Firstly he had a chicken with huge tufts of hair on his feet who had been trained to use the toilet. I'm not kidding. This chicken was so smart it wasn't even acting like a chicken. It just sat with us and watched everything that went on. This little creature had been sitting on the Magic Magee for years and was well past his due date for the soup pot. Even years later when Bruce would visit he would bring this chicken in my house and it was still thriving. Of course it was in the house because it needed to use my toilet.

Bruce showed me oranges that had sat on the device for more than a year and were still orange while the control group was of green dust and on and on. This went on for awhile when I noticed that the pain in my hand had vanished. When he took the towel off 40 minutes into this adventure there was no evidence that I had ever been burned. There was just a very small red dot. Bruce said just keep it out of water for a couple of days and all will be well. The burn and cure left quite the impression on me. Since that time I have seen Bruce give many burn and cures with the same result every time. A burn and then a cure.

Soon after I started using my Magee I went into business with Bruce and began to interview him on my radio show. I would refer to him as my mad scientist. He is quite the character. He spent the early part of his life as a bush pilot up in Northern British Columbia. He used to fly a De Havilland Beaver on floats and does he have some stories to tell!

In the simplest terms I can explain Bruce tells us that the reason this magnetic device with it's 8 poled magnets facing each other, works the wonders it does is that it is turning basketballs into buckshot. It speeds up ciculation and cell division at a rapid pace and thus healing is the result. I now have nearly 600 Magic Magee tools out there in people's lives and have seen and heard amazing things from the people faithfully using it.

Magnetic energy affects everyone's body. From the smallest cells to the largest celestial bodies, positive and negative electrical units called protons and electrons are fundamental constituents of matter. They establish and maintain the empty space that dominates all matter. Without the presence of magnetic and electro-magnetic, order as we know it in the universe, would cease to exist and so would we.

The very planet we live on is magnetically charged. Our perceptions of north and south are determined by where the compass-needle points. Water becomes hard because of the arrangement of positive and negative charges in the water. Naturally flowing water is always soft. Traveling over the ground water molecules become aligned -the positive poles pointing in one direction and the negative poles pointing in the opposite direction. The planet Earth acts like one piece of metal consistently rubbed on another. The final result is water with magnetic integrity or in everyday terms

soft water.

Magnetic technology may one day provide the key to the elimination of deadly detergents and chemical water softeners that adversely affect ground water purity and ultimately compromise our health.

Scientist, inventor and magnetic expert, Bruce Voigt says magnetic energy can affect healing.

With the application of properly configured magnetic energy, the cells begin to resonate and expand producing warmth resulting in increased circulation and blood flow. The ultimate result is rapid healing and pain reduction.

Voigt, the pioneer of Magna-Field technology, maintains that the strength of a given magnet is not the most important factor for cellular restoration. But it is in fact the specific organization of circular series' of equidistant magnets that produces a force duplicating the Earth's magnetic field.

One might argue that if the Earth is already producing a beneficial magnetic force, what need do we have of artificial magnetic constructs? Voigt maintains that because of heavy pollution, nutritionally dead food, stress and other factors, the Earth's once ample magnetic field is no longer sufficient to adequately affect cellular regeneration. In a recent radio interview, Voigt said, "Our bodies are made of a substantial amount of water, held together by magnetic and electro-magnetic energies that bind atoms and molecules together. When those structures are subject to Magna-Field energy, naturally or by artificial means, the body responds immediately, entering into a condition of healing."

Detractors of magnetic therapy maintain that there is little credible scientific data to substantiate claims made by Voigt and others. They say that it's all about profit, while failing to acknowledge the truly huge financial gains that are realized by pharmaceutical manufacturers in the wake of numerous 'off-the-shelf recalls and subsequent law suits.. A number of self-appointed watchdog organizations publish a wide range of opinions on the dubious benefits of magnetic for healing.

Most try to discredit the Baylor Medical College double blind study on magnetic energy and its application to healing and pain reduction. The study published results indicating that pain reduction was achieved by 29% of the participants. The common argument is that there was no follow-up and that the relief was at best temporary. Although this may be true,

it is important to recognize that magnetic technology has advanced from the stagnant single magnet to magnetic configurations that produce a unified pushing effect approximating Earth's natural magnetic properties.

According to Voigt, watchdog groups are on the right track when it conies to single randomly placed magnets. Voigt says, "They don't work. It's not a matter of strength. It's about configuration." To date there have been no adverse reactions negative side effects or deaths reported from the use of magnetic therapies. Dr. Robert Becker, MD and former professor of orthopedic surgery at the Upstate Medical Center in New York, stated, "I believe that the discovery of magnetic fields and the effects they have on living organisms, will prove to be the most significant discovery of this century". And Dr. J.B. Baron, of Baylor College of Medicine in Texas said, "This is a revolution in the therapy for muscle injuries, joint pain and posture problems. We have treated 4,000 patients with whiplash injuries and cured 80%."

Dr. Burl Payne, former professor at Boston University and Goddard College and author of The Body Magnetic Healing is well known for inventing and designing biofeedback instruments.

Dr. Payne says that the known factors in magnetic healing include changes in migration of calcium ions, adjustment of pH balance, changes in the hormone-producing endocrine glands, and alterations of enzyme and other biochemical processes, all of which contribute to increased blood flow and more oxygen to the damaged area.

Dr. Andrew Bassett, medical research scientist, has achieved startling results using electro-magnetic therapies. He claims that patients have experienced re-growth of tissue, nerve and bone largely due to increased blood flow.

It is surprising that there is much resistance to magnetic therapy in North American mainstream medicine, when many European countries have, for decades, benefited from the advent of magnetic therapy. In Russia alone there are thousands of magnetic articles published in professional peer-review journals and Russian doctors routinely use magnets to speed up healing and strengthen bones. Furthermore the Japanese have led the charge in educating and marketing magnetic technology and devices to the west. One only needs to ask a friend or acquaintance if they have heard about magnetic therapy; to find that most have. The resistance to magnetic therapy is slowly changing in Canada and the USA and in time it will be well recognized. Dr. Madeline F. Barnothy, author of "Biological Effects of Magnetic Fields", says, "The magnetic field will in due time develop into a powerful new analytic and therapeutic tool of medicine.
